Honouring the craft and Labour

Kirrt is an artist collective that publishes texts, images, and videos. From 2018 to 2019, it documented artisans, labourers, and craftspeople of the Panjab region, publishing their stories in digital and print formats; this project is now being compiled into a book. Between 2020 and 2021, Kirrt collaborated with activists at farmers’ protest sites to produce a newsletter for the movement. The collective has also published poetry, feminist essays, and children’s stories, and produced short video documentaries on artists, activists, and the ecological crisis in Panjab.
